Fairtrade and Emma.
Launching in late February 2010, this exciting, long awaited collection brings a youthful and inspiring edge to Fair Trade fashion!
"I wanted to help People Tree produce a younger range because I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with. It has been the most incredible gap year project." Emma Watson
Acting as creative advisor, Emma has worked closely with People Tree's in house design team and CEO Safia Minney to create a capsule lifestyle collection.
Emma has utilised her love of fashion, great personal style and young perspective to help develop a range that will bring Fair Trade and organic fashion to a new audience.
Clean and easy to wear - Emma Watson and People Tree have created a cool collection boasting a range of jersey t-shirts, dresses, woven skirts, trousers, shorts and knitwear for both men and women.
Bohemian hand embroidered bed throws, recycled sweetie paper jewellery, banana fibre slouchy beanies and head scarves add innovative fashion and home accessories to the collection.
Not only does the collection use 100% organic and Fairtrade certified cotton, it is also made entirely by Fair Trade groups by hand, using hand weaving, hand knitting and hand embroidery to create livelihoods for some of the most disadvantaged people in India, Bangladesh and Nepal.
"I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian issues surrounding fast fashion and want to make good choices but there aren't many options out there." Emma Watson

News on Betsy.
Watson is attached to star in "Napoleon and Betsy," about the French emperor's last years in exile and romance with a young English girl. While that project remains very much in the development stages, along with another U.K. project that she is eyeing, Watson has already said she intends to go to college rather than pursue a full-time acting career once the "Potter" series comes to an end. "She's an extremely bright young lady, and she's aware of the difficulties in making the move professionally from childhood," says Watson's agent, Alex Irwin. "At the end of the day, it's her life, and she'll make those choices. A large part of being an actress is knowing what are the right artistic choices to make and not just doing what's commercially viable."
Good girls/Emma?

Heyman interview for Hallows.
Some highlights from the mass interview session included:
• When asked if the adult actors will have more screen-time in Deathly Hallows, he stated that they would certainly not in the first part as it is solely a road trip for Harry, Ron, and Hermione. On the second part, however, the adults will have bigger roles, but the focus will remain on the three leads; the adult characters will be featured according to their relation to the main three.
• On the Harry Potter theme park, there will be: three rides; a perpetually snow-covered Hogsmeade with shops and restaurants; the Hogwarts Express to lead them into the park; and a sit-down journey through Hogwarts Castle.
• David spoke about the special collector's editions of the Harry Potter DVDs, most notably the extras, including audition tapes for Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint), and Hermione (Emma Watson), which will be released with Sorcerer's Stone. He said he may put Evanna Lynch's audition for Luna Lovegood in the DVD set for Order of the Phoenix; and Jessie Cave's improvised screen test with Rupert Grint in the Gryffindor common room for Half-Blood Prince.
